In this course, students play the role of real-life medical detectives. They will learn how the systems of the body work together to keep us healthy, how to respond to situations when the body becomes ill or injured, and solve medical mysteries through hands-on projects and labs. Students will observe, record, and investigate crime scenes and car crashes. They will participate in a mock trial. Potential guest speakers include a forensic nurse examiner, biologist, entomologist, and crime scene technician.
